Every Sunday, from 4 AM, it takes over the parking lot of the Zénith Europe in Eckbolsheim, a first experience of Sunday market in Bas-Rhin. About sixty exhibitors offer an atypical mix between flea market, food market, and textile market: second-hand objects, knick-knacks, clothing, shoes, tableware, small furniture, but also traditional products from Tunisia, Morocco, and the Mediterranean basin, groceries, pottery, and colorful textiles. A cosmopolitan event attracting thousands of visitors every week from across the metropolitan area.
The grand Sunday market of the Eurometropolis
The Zénith Market was born from a first experience of Sunday market in Bas-Rhin, inaugurated by the Strasbourg Eurometropolis. Located in the parking lot of the famous Zénith Europe in Eckbolsheim, it welcomes about sixty exhibitors every Sunday who set up from 4 AM for a bustling day of activity until 3:45 PM.
A unique offering between bargain hunting and Mediterranean traditions
The stalls of the Zénith Market offer an original and colorful mix. About half of the stands are dedicated to food. The other half is shared between textiles and clothing, shoes, sportswear, traditional clothing, pottery, and traditional objects from Tunisia, Morocco, and other Mediterranean countries.
Easy access and ample parking
The Zénith Europe, inaugurated in 2008, is the major concert hall of the Strasbourg Eurometropolis, hosting concerts, shows, and events every year. Its vast rear parking lot is ideally suited for organizing a large-scale Sunday market.
