The Oberhausbergen May 1st Brocante is one of the major spring events in the Strasbourg metropolitan area. On Friday May 1, 2026, more than 200 exhibitors take over the streets of downtown Oberhausbergen: Rue du Général de Gaulle, Rue de Wolfisheim, Rue du Moulin, Rue de la Paix and Place du Général Leclerc. Private sellers and bargain hunters offer a wide range of antiques, brocante, garage sale items, clothing, tableware, toys, books and trinkets. Refreshments, light catering and musical entertainment accompany this day organized by the town of Oberhausbergen.
The Oberhausbergen May 1st Brocante has become one of the most popular events for bargain hunters in the Strasbourg Eurometropolis. Organized by the town, it brings together on Friday May 1, 2026 more than 200 exhibitors who invade the main streets of the center. Vehicle circulation is prohibited throughout the event, from 8 AM to 5 PM.
Exhibitors, mainly private individuals, offer a wide variety of brocante items: furniture, tableware, glassware, trinkets, books, old toys, clothing, linens and curiosities. A refreshment stand, light catering and musical entertainment accompany the day.
Oberhausbergen is a commune of about 5,000 inhabitants located in the Strasbourg Eurometropolis, on the hills that border the Alsatian plain west of the Alsatian capital. Its heritage includes the Grossherzog von Baden fort, a remnant of the late 19th century German fortifications.
