International collectors' market at the Château de Condé-Sainte-Libiaire, global meeting of collectors
The World Congress of Paris Collectors (CMC) is a prestigious international event held every year at the Château de Condé-Sainte-Libiaire in Seine-et-Marne. This market brings together collectors, specialized dealers and enthusiasts from around the world to exchange, sell and buy rare pieces from all collecting disciplines. An essential event in an exceptional historical setting.
The World Congress of Paris Collectors, better known by its acronym CMC, has established itself over the years as one of the great European collecting events. This event brings together over two days, on April 24 and 25, 2026, a passionate community from around the world: numismatists, philatelists, collectors of postcards, beans, military insignia, capsules, old toys, vinyl records, comics, stamps, ancient coins and many other collectibles.
The choice of the Château de Condé-Sainte-Libiaire as the host location gives this event a particular aura. Built between the 17th and 18th centuries, this Brie castle has a rich and eventful past. In the 13th century, the lordship belonged to the Benedictines of Saint-Pierre de Lagny. The castle was burned during the Wars of Religion, which claimed many victims in Condé. Its vaulted cellars dating from the 17th century have never been flooded, even during the greatest floods of the Morin and Marne rivers.
Unlike a classic flea market, the CMC is specifically aimed at collectors, whether beginners or confirmed experts. Most stands are held by specialized dealers or knowledgeable collectors who offer pieces from their duplicates or sales. You can find both affordable pieces to initiate a new passion and exceptional rarities that attract the greatest amateurs.
Condé-Sainte-Libiaire is a small commune in Seine-et-Marne located on the banks of the Marne, a few kilometers from Meaux. In addition to its castle, it has the Saint-Martin-et-Sainte-Libiaire church, built in the second half of the 16th century in the castle's outbuildings, and rebuilt in 1627 after having suffered significant damage during the Wars of Religion.
For collecting enthusiasts, the CMC is an event that is prepared in advance. Visitors sometimes come from far away, some booking their weekend several months in advance so as not to miss this unique opportunity.
