The weekly car boot sales in Retournac enlivened the commune from April to September 2025, every Saturday at the SNCF station car park and every Sunday on Place Boncompain. Free and with no pitch fees (5 linear meters per exhibitor, registration at the town hall), these bi-weekly events were faithfully attended by residents and visitors passing through the Gorges de la Loire.

Weekly Car Boot Sales 2025 — Retournac
From early April to the end of September 2025, Retournac offered its free weekly car boot sales according to the usual schedule: every Saturday morning at the SNCF station car park and every Sunday morning on Place Boncompain, from 7 am to 1 pm.
This original municipal initiative, which offers 5 linear meters free of charge to each exhibitor upon simple registration at the town hall, allowed many residents to clear out their attics throughout the good season. Bargain hunters in the area undoubtedly took advantage of these regular events to find good deals, in a friendly and informal local car boot sale atmosphere.
