The Viroy School Car Boot Sale: A Family Spring Event

Organized by the Viroy district school festival association, the annual Viroy School Car Boot Sale is one of the district's flagship events in Amilly. Every end of April, around 150 individual exhibitors set up in and around the school to offer their second-hand items at attractive prices. The profits from the day are donated to the school's activities and the organizing association.

A Car Boot Sale Reserved for Individuals

The peculiarity of this car boot sale is that it is exclusively reserved for individuals: flea market professionals and new food items are not accepted. This rule guarantees the authenticity of the finds and ensures affordable prices for visitors. Exhibitors arrive from 6:30 am, with their national identity card, and pay for their pitch on site at a rate of €3 per linear meter.

The Viroy School, at the Heart of the District

The Viroy School is located at 160 rue Aristide Briand, in the Viroy district of Amilly. This residential area in the south of the town developed near the old Viroy road, and the school is a real hub for families in the area. The car boot sale is an opportunity for the entire community to come together in a friendly and supportive atmosphere.

Activities and Catering

The day is punctuated by activities for young and old: a bouncy castle is set up for children, and full catering (sandwiches, drinks, homemade cakes) is offered by the association's volunteers. These services help finance educational projects and school trips throughout the year.
