Each year, on May 8th, FC Odet takes over the Poulpry sports complex in Bénodet to organize its large car boot sale. True to its appointment for about ten years, this event has become one of the highlights of the festive calendar of the Finistère seaside resort. In 2025, the event celebrated its 10th edition, demonstrating the longevity and popular success of the initiative led by the local football club.

The car boot sale welcomes exhibitors and bargain hunters from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m., offering a wide time frame to browse among the stalls. Individuals, families, and amateur sellers come together to offer clothes, toys, books, tableware, and all sorts of second-hand items. Entry is free for visitors. The Poulpry sports complex, with its open spaces, provides an ideal setting to accommodate all exhibitors in good conditions.

FC Odet is the football club of Bénodet, its name referring to the Odet river, which flows through the Cornouaille region before emptying into the sea near the commune. Like many Breton rural sports clubs, FC Odet relies on organizing festive events to supplement its budget and liven up local community life. Stalls are set up outdoors, on the site of the Poulpry sports complex.
