Every summer, the Place du Meneyer (rue du Fort) in Bénodet transforms into a large popular flea market for two editions: one in July, the other in August. The Grandes puces de Bénodet are an event eagerly awaited by locals and the many holidaymakers who frequent the seaside resort during the high season. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly, reflecting the character of this coastal town in South Finistère.

The market welcomes both individuals clearing out their attics and professional exhibitors offering flea market finds, antiques, and collectibles. You can find clothing, tableware, books, vinyl records, toys, light furniture, and all sorts of hidden treasures. Visitors can browse the stalls freely from 8 am to 6 pm, with no admission fee. On-site catering allows for a gourmet break in the open air.
