A village réderie in Amiénois

Villers-Bocage is an Amiénois commune about twelve kilometres north of Amiens on the Amiens-Arras road. Its history is rich, its heritage preserved, and its community spirit very much alive. The annual Réderia fits this dynamic: on Friday 8 May 2026, the village centre becomes an open-air flea market in the great Picard 8 May tradition.

A village mobilised

As in many Somme communes, the event's success depends on resident and volunteer involvement. Main streets are closed, sellers set up from early morning, local associations run the buvette and refreshments, and the organising committee oversees the day. Village residents, neighbours and professional dealers share the stalls.
