The traditional summer réderie of the canton seat
Hornoy-le-Bourg, former canton seat southwest of Amiens, is one of those Picard rural communes that preserve heritage and associative life. In 2026, the July edition takes place on Sunday July 12.
The réderie is the Picard name for the flea market. In Somme this tradition goes back far and has remained alive.
Hornoy-le-Bourg takes its name from its position as a commercial and administrative center since the Middle Ages. Saint-Pierre Church, old halls, streets lined with typical Picard houses.
The Hornoy réderie offers the classic assortment of large Picard réderies.
In rural villages, the annual réderie is an event that brings together the entire community.
Hornoy-le-Bourg's position makes it an ideal starting point for discovering southwest Somme.
