On June 7 and 8, 2025, the hamlet of Péret in Saint-Julien-d'Ance hosted its annual village clear-out. For two full days, from 8 am to 5 pm, the inhabitants of the hamlet brought their belongings out in front of their houses to offer entire cellars, attics, and sheds to the curious gaze of visitors and passing treasure hunters.
The hamlet transformed into a true open-air market, with improvised stalls in front of each door. Antique furniture, tools, crockery, clothes, toys, decorative items, and various curiosities found buyers over the two days. The typically rural atmosphere of the hamlet, with its stone houses and shaded alleys, provided an ideal setting for this treasure hunt in the heart of nature.
Chocolatier Adrien Fort, whose workshop is located in the very heart of the hamlet, was present to offer his artisanal creations: chocolate bonbons, bars, marshmallows, and other delicacies. His presence added a gourmet and original touch to the event, delighting visitors and treasure hunters looking for local and artisanal souvenirs.
