On the last Sunday of April 2024, the municipal hall of Bas-en-Basset came alive for the annual edition of "Vide ta chambre" organized by the Sou des écoles. Sellers had booked their tables (€10-15 for 2-3 tables provided) to offer toys, games, books, clothes, and many second-hand items. Families and bargain hunters took advantage of this covered and friendly space to find great deals. The day's proceeds directly benefited the commune's schoolchildren to fund their educational and recreational activities.
