The Oberlin Museum Garden Sale in Waldersbach is an original event held each year in the gardens of the museum dedicated to the famous Alsatian pastor and educator. Located in the Bruche valley, in the heart of the Ban de la Roche, Waldersbach is a tiny mountain village of about 150 inhabitants. Participants come to sell and exchange plants, garden tools, botany books, seeds, pots and garden decorations in an exceptional green setting.
The gardens of the Jean-Frédéric Oberlin Museum in Waldersbach provide an exceptional setting for this annual garden sale. From 10 AM, gardening and botany enthusiasts gather to sell and exchange perennial plants, shrubs, heirloom seeds, garden tools, terracotta pots and garden decorations.
Waldersbach is a tiny mountain village of about 150 inhabitants nestled in the Bruche valley, in the heart of the Ban de la Roche. It is here that Pastor Jean-Frédéric Oberlin (1740-1826) devoted his life to education. The Oberlin Museum, classified as a Museum of France, traces his pioneering educational work.
