At an altitude of 1,254 meters, on this emblematic ridge that marks the southern gateway to the Vercors, exhibitors and bargain hunters meet in a breathtaking mountain setting. The Col de Rousset, accessible from Die via the D518 or from Vassieux-en-Vercors via the same route, is one of the most spectacular passes in the Vercors. The road winds through dizzying hairpin bends on the cliff face before reaching the plateau. The Col de Rousset ski resort, modest but popular with families, enlivens this site in winter. In summer, the pass becomes a popular spot for walks and hikes. Saint-Agnan-en-Vercors, the commune to which the pass belongs, is a small village of about a hundred inhabitants with authentic charm.

A Mountain Car Boot Sale with a Unique Atmosphere

This car boot sale is distinguished by its altitude and atmosphere: at almost 1,300 meters, coolness is guaranteed even in June. The stalls are set up along the sides of the pass, in an environment of alpine meadows and coniferous forests. You'll find a jumble of everyday items, clothes, toys, books, and various curiosities, all offered by individuals from the Vercors villages.
