The Vide Greniers de Saint-Péray, organized by Jpp la Brocante, is one of the unmissable flea market events in Northern Ardèche. Every 1st and 3rd Sunday of the month, from March to November, the Pôle 2000 commercial zone transforms into a vast flea market where bargain hunters, antique dealers, and bargain enthusiasts meet.
Saint-Péray is a commune in Ardèche (07130) located on the right bank of the Rhône, just opposite Valence. The Pôle 2000 Zone, accessible from the N86, offers ample parking and smooth organization to accommodate both exhibitors and the public. Its location at the junction of several main roads makes it easily accessible from Valence, Tournon-sur-Rhône, Cornas, or Guilherand-Granges.
The event is organized by Jpp la Brocante, a local association specializing in organizing car boot sales. The market opens its doors to visitors from 6 am and ends at 1 pm. Exhibitors can set up from 5:30 am without prior reservation: simply show up on the morning of the event. Pitches are assigned upon arrival.
The rates for exhibitors are affordable: €12 for a car space and €15 for a trailer or utility vehicle. Restrooms and catering are available on-site, making the day enjoyable for all participants.
Each edition brings together numerous exhibitors offering a wide variety of items: furniture, tableware, trinkets, clothing, books, vinyl records, toys, tools, garden equipment, and decorative objects. The diversity of stalls makes the Vide Greniers de Saint-Péray a favorite hunting ground for collectors and occasional flea market enthusiasts alike. The public, coming from all over the Valence area and neighboring Ardèche, appreciates the quality and regular renewal of goods, guaranteed by the bi-monthly frequency of the event.
Saint-Péray is particularly known for its Clairette de Die and its Saint-Péray AOC, a still or sparkling white wine produced from the Marsanne grape variety, one of the only appellation white wines in Ardèche. The communal territory is marked by the ruins of the Château de Crussol, a medieval fortress that overlooks the right bank of the Rhône and offers an exceptional panorama of the Valence plain. This historic and wine-growing setting gives the local car boot sale a special flavor, between terroir and tradition.
No reservation needed. Exhibitors should arrive directly on-site from 5:30 am. Rates: €12 per car space, €15 per trailer or utility vehicle space. The event takes place in all weather conditions except for exceptional meteorological circumstances. Toilets and a refreshment stand are available on site.
