The Mega Puces Bords du Rhône are undoubtedly the largest and most popular flea markets in northern Ardèche. Organized every 3rd Sunday of the month, they bring together up to 350 exhibitors on the vast lawns of the Stade Mistral Nord in Guilherand-Granges, a stone's throw from the Rhône river. This monthly event attracts thousands of visitors from Ardèche, neighboring Drôme, and the entire Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region.

A 4-hectare site along the Rhône

The Stade Mistral Nord, located at rue Pierre Curie in Guilherand-Granges, offers an exceptional setting for this regional-scale market. With its 4 hectares of open space, it comfortably accommodates the stands and vehicles of exhibitors—cars, vans, and trailers—while allowing ample circulation for visitors. The site has free parking for over 500 vehicles, making it one of the best-served markets in the region.

The proximity to the Rhône gives the location a particularly pleasant atmosphere, especially on sunny days. Guilherand-Granges, a commune in Ardèche adjacent to Valence (Drôme), benefits from a strategic geographical location: only 1 km from the center of Valence, accessible from the RN86 along the right bank of the Rhône towards Le Puy-en-Velay.

Flea market, antiques, and car boot sale: a varied offer

The richness of the Mega Puces lies in the diversity of its exhibitors. You'll find seasoned professional antique dealers specializing in antique furniture, tableware, collectibles, books, and vinyl records, alongside private individuals clearing out their attics. This mix guarantees finds for all budgets and tastes: period furniture, regional earthenware, old tools, vintage clothing, antique toys, silverware, paintings, old photographs, retro lighting, and many other curiosities.

Regulars arrive as early as 6 am at opening time to take advantage of the best deals before the crowds. The market runs until 1 pm, offering the entire morning to browse at leisure. Sellers are accepted without prior reservation, with pitches allocated on arrival on the morning itself.

Guilherand-Granges, at the gates of Valence

Guilherand-Granges is a commune in Ardèche (07) with nearly 12,000 inhabitants, located on the right bank of the Rhône, directly opposite Valence. It is part of the Valence Romans Agglo urban community. Its geographical position, at the junction of Ardèche and Drôme, makes it a natural hub for residents of the entire Rhône valley.

The flea market thus benefits from a large customer base, drawing on the Valence urban area (over 130,000 inhabitants) and the many tourists who travel through the region throughout the year. This is one of the reasons why the Mega Puces Bords du Rhône maintain their monthly schedule twelve months a year, including in winter.
