A solidarity car boot sale in the heart of Comminges

Every May 1st, the small village of Labroquère hosts its annual car boot sale at the village hall. Approximately 110 exhibitors offer furniture, clothing, toys, dishes, books, and various items. The originality of this event lies in its humanitarian dimension: all profits are donated to the association Pirineos, which carries out solidarity actions in Bolivia.

Labroquère is a village of 320 inhabitants nestled 13 km southwest of Saint-Gaudens, in the heart of the Pyrenean Comminges. The commune is near the famous Saint-Bertrand-de-Comminges, an ancient and medieval site classified among the "Most Beautiful Villages of France", whose Sainte-Marie-de-Comminges cathedral is a UNESCO World Heritage site on the Santiago de Compostela pilgrimage route. Labroquère shares the postal code 31510 with this remarkable town and benefits from an exceptional mountain setting.
