Car boot sale on the village square of Orcival, at the foot of the Romanesque Notre-Dame basilica
The Orcival car boot sale brings together about fifty exhibitors on the village square, at the foot of the famous Romanesque Notre-Dame d'Orcival basilica, a jewel of Auvergne Romanesque art. This small mountain village, located in the heart of the Sancy massif, hosts this spring event in an exceptional heritage setting.
Orcival, a mountain village nestled in the Sioulot valley, is world-renowned for its 12th-century Romanesque Notre-Dame basilica, a masterpiece of Auvergne Romanesque art housing a Virgin in Majesty. It is at the foot of this remarkable building that the annual car boot sale takes place, on the village square.
With around 50 exhibitors, this human-sized car boot sale retains the authentic spirit of village flea markets. Visitors can enjoy the mountain setting to hunt for treasures in peace, between volcanoes and pastures, before continuing their day towards the nearby Guéry lake or Puy de Sancy.
Vide-greniers d'Orcival on Sunday, April 12, 2026, on the village square, approximately 50 exhibitors.
