Foire à tout and car boot sale under the hall of Grenade-sur-Garonne
Grenade-sur-Garonne, a royal bastide founded in 1290, hosts a Foire à tout and car boot sale twice a year, organized by the Comité d'Animation des Fêtes. In spring in March and at the start of the school year in September, the historic hall of the town transforms into a covered treasure hunting space, ideal for lovers of good deals and second-hand items.
The hall of Grenade-sur-Garonne, a listed historic monument, is one of the most beautiful wooden halls in the Occitanie region. Its centuries-old structures have housed the town's markets and fairs for centuries. Organizing the Foire à tout under this hall means perpetuating a trading tradition over seven centuries old, in a remarkable architectural setting that is the pride of the Grenadains.
The Foire à tout of Grenade is open to all private sellers wishing to clear out their attics, cellars, and garages. Entry is free for visitors, and a refreshment stand run by the volunteers of the Comité d'Animation allows you to eat on site. The covered setting of the hall guarantees the smooth running of the event regardless of the weather.
Located about thirty kilometers northwest of Toulouse, at the confluence of the Garonne and the Save, Grenade-sur-Garonne is a royal bastide with remarkable architectural heritage. Its central square with arcades, its wooden hall, and its Gothic church bear witness to the richness of its medieval past. The Foire à tout perpetuates the historical trading vocation of this commercial town.
