About Easter Monday Brocante Beausset

An essential date in Le Beausset's calendar, the Easter Monday brocante takes over the entire town centre from dawn to dusk. Organised by the Tourist Office, it draws professional dealers, private sellers and hunters from across Provence in a village-fair atmosphere nestled between vines and the Sainte-Baume massif.

An Easter tradition in Le Beausset

Every Easter Monday, the historic heart of Le Beausset transforms into a vast open-air market. This brocante–vide-greniers is one of the most anticipated events of Var springtime. Professional antiques and bric-a-brac dealers mingle with private sellers clearing their attics. The result: hundreds of metres of stalls running from Esplanade Charles de Gaulle through the old village lanes.

What's on offer

The diversity is remarkable: antique furniture, lamps, Provençal crockery and porcelain, santons, household linen, family jewellery, books and vintage postcards, retro toys, advertising objects, small furniture for second homes, vinyl records, old farm tools. Dealers bring quality pieces while private sellers lend a popular flea-market feel.

Run by the Tourist Office

Le Beausset Tourist Office handles logistics: exhibitor layout, safety, signage, publicity. Free for visitors, paying for exhibitors depending on pitch.

Provençal atmosphere and food

All day long, the village's bakeries, cafés and restaurants are on duty. Visitors happily enjoy a slice of pissaladière, an orange-blossom navette or a glass of Bandol rosé on a terrace. Provençal music sometimes livens up the squares.

A springtime essential

Together with the 15 August and Whit Monday flea markets, Easter Monday completes the trio of great Beausset bargain-hunting events — a ritual where regulars book pitches well in advance and visitors travel across Provence to enjoy the spring Var atmosphere.

Easter Monday Brocante Beausset — edition 2026

The 2026 edition took place on Monday 6 April across central Le Beausset, 8am-5pm. Hundreds of vendors, a dense crowd and a springtime Provençal backdrop: Easter Monday once again confirmed its status as a major Var flea market. Smooth organisation by the Tourist Office with Esplanade Charles de Gaulle and village lanes packed.

2026 Easter Monday Brocante

On Monday 6 April 2026, Le Beausset delivered: at dawn, dealers and private sellers invaded Esplanade Charles de Gaulle and the historic centre. By 8am the first hunters were browsing between Provençal furniture, lamps, santons and crockery.

With fine weather and seasoned Tourist Office logistics, the crowd flowed well until late afternoon. The next big Beausset dates are the Whit Monday and 15 August brocantes.
