The APEEC Les Landes-Genusson flea market

Each spring, the APEEC parents' association of Saint-Raphaël Catholic school runs a flea market to fund school projects. The school welcomes around 250 pupils from kindergarten to Year 6.

In 2026, the event is scheduled for Sunday 19 April. Private-individual vendors set up early with clothes, toys, tableware, books, small furniture and household items.

Les Landes-Genusson, a Haut-Bocage village

A rural commune of roughly 1,800 inhabitants, 20 minutes from Les Herbiers and close to the Puy du Fou. The surrounding bocage landscape of hedges and small roads is typical of Lower Poitou.

A solidarity event

Proceeds go to Saint-Raphaël school to fund outings and teaching materials. Volunteer parents run the refreshments.

Les Landes-Genusson offers easy access to the Haut-Bocage: Puy du Fou, Mortagne-sur-Sèvre, Les Herbiers and the Mont des Alouettes.
