Flea market under the historic covered market hall of Vic-en-Bigorre in Hautes-Pyrénées
The Vic-en-Bigorre hall is one of the town's architectural jewels. Built in the heart of this former bastide, it has hosted centuries of markets and fairs. It is under this imposing timber frame that the flea market takes place, offering visitors an authentic setting for browsing antique furniture, crockery, books, paintings and everyday objects from times past.
Vic-en-Bigorre is a town of character in Hautes-Pyrénées, located about fifteen kilometers north of Tarbes. Former capital of the Bigorre Vic-Bilh, the town retains remarkable built heritage with its half-timbered houses, church and hall. The Saturday market, gathering over 50 traders, reflects the commercial vitality of this commune of some 5,000 inhabitants.
