Every year in May, the Alphonse Guérin neighborhood in Rennes hosts its big car boot sale. For its 32nd edition, over 630 individual exhibitors set up their stalls in the neighborhood's streets, mainly around Rue Bertrand Robidou. This car boot sale is exclusively for individuals: no professionals or food vendors. You can find clothes, toys, books, trinkets, small furniture, vinyl records, tableware, and various items at low prices.

A Residential Neighborhood That Comes Alive

The Alphonse Guérin neighborhood is a residential area in the southwest of Rennes, between Villejean and Cleunay. On the day of the car boot sale, sidewalks are covered with tarps and boxes, neighbors meet, children run between the stalls, and a neighborhood festival atmosphere sets in. The refreshments and food provided by the association complete this convivial day. Access is easy via buses C4, C6, and 67, Robidou stop.
