Saint-Sauveur-de-Carrouges, a small village located at the gates of the Écouves forest in the Orne region, hosts an original event each year combining a traditional car boot sale and plant swap. Organized by the association Nature et Patrimoine, this spring gathering attracts treasure hunters as much as gardening enthusiasts.

Nearly 50 exhibitors expected

Set up near the village hall, about fifty exhibitors offer their everyday items — crockery, clothes, toys, books — while a dedicated area allows amateur gardeners to exchange plants, seeds, cuttings, and advice. This mix of genres is the originality and charm of this event.

A preserved natural setting

The village of Saint-Sauveur-de-Carrouges benefits from an exceptional natural environment, in immediate proximity to the Normandie-Maine Regional Natural Park and the Écouves forest. The car boot sale thus offers an opportunity to discover this green territory while finding good deals.
