The August 15th garage sale: a tradition in Rânes

Every August 15th, the château park in Rânes transforms into a vast treasure-hunting and festivity space. Organised by the Comité des Fêtes, this large garage sale brings together around 350 exhibitors — private individuals and professionals — on the shady lawns of the park. Furniture, crockery, clothing, toys, books, trinkets and vintage items: visitors can browse a varied selection and unearth real finds at low prices.

A fun fair for the whole family

Beyond the garage sale, August 15th in Rânes is a true patronal celebration. The fun fair rides delight the youngest visitors, while activities punctuate the day: cycling races, exhibitions of embroidery, photos and paintings. The refreshment stand and on-site catering allow visitors to spend a full day in a friendly and festive atmosphere.

Practical information for exhibitors

Pitches are accessible from 6 am. Rates are €2.50 per linear metre with reservation (before July 31) and €3.50 per metre without reservation. Professionals benefit from a rate of €6 per linear metre. Toilets, parking and refreshments are provided. The château park setting offers flat and shady ground, ideal for setting up a stall.
