Summer car boot sale as part of the Fête de Thiézac, a mountain village in the heart of the Cère valley
Every summer, in early August, the village of Thiézac comes alive for its village festival, a festive weekend that includes many activities: a theater evening, a summer hike, a fireworks display on Saturday evening, and a car boot sale that attracts bargain hunters and strollers. Exhibitors set up in the village center and on the church square, offering a wide selection of items to visitors.
Located at an altitude of 805 meters in the Cère valley, Thiézac (15800) is a mountain village in Cantal that offers an exceptional natural setting. Dominated by the Plomb du Cantal (1,855 m), the highest point in the department, the village is surrounded by waterfalls, forests, and summer pastures. The built heritage, with its Romanesque church and traditional stone houses, gives the commune an authentic charm prized by hikers and nature lovers.
The car boot sale is part of a weekend of festivities that includes musical entertainment, a theater evening, and fireworks. Exhibitors must book in advance with the Mairie de Thiézac. Entry is free for visitors, who can enjoy on-site catering and entertainment offered throughout the weekend.
