The 2025 edition of the Vide-Grenier de Sainte-Eulalie-d'Olt took place on Sunday, August 17, in the streets and squares of this village classified among the Most Beautiful Villages of France. The village associations welcomed exhibitors and bargain hunters for a summer day of treasure hunting on the banks of the Lot. The stalls, arranged between the pebble houses with flowery facades and Renaissance residences, offered the usual variety of Aveyronnais car boot sales. Refreshments and light meals accompanied this friendly day in an exceptional heritage setting.
The Vide-Grenier de Sainte-Eulalie-d'Olt took over the cobbled alleys and squares of this medieval village for the August 17, 2025 edition. Organized by local associations, this summer event brought together private sellers and passing bargain hunters in one of the Most Beautiful Villages of France in Aveyron, nestled on the left bank of the Lot.
Stalls were set up in the historic heart of the village, between the 11th-century fortified Romanesque church and the 15th-century castle, offering an extraordinary backdrop for treasure hunting. Visitors could discover a wide variety of items: antique tableware, books and magazines, clothing and accessories, toys, DIY tools, decorative knick-knacks, and small furniture. The pebble alleys, flowery facades, and the murmur of the Serre stream flowing through the village added to the charm of this open-air treasure hunting day.
The refreshments and light meals prepared by volunteers allowed visitors to cool down and eat between finds, while the village restaurants welcomed those wishing to extend the culinary experience. The Eulalie d'Art space and its artisan workshops were also open, allowing visitors to combine bargain hunting with the discovery of Sainte-Eulalie-d'Olt's artisanal heritage.
