On Sunday, October 19, 2025, the streets of Tinchebray-Bocage hosted the traditional Saint-Luc giant car boot sale. This ancient fair, whose origins date back several centuries, once again lived up to expectations with over 400 exhibitors set up in the town centre.
From 7am, the earliest bargain hunters were already scouring the streets looking for good deals. Individuals, professional antique dealers and merchants offered an impressive array of items: antique furniture, ornaments, crockery, books, toys, clothing and all kinds of tools. The local produce market allowed visitors to discover Norman flavours with local producers offering cider, cheeses and bocage specialities.
The funfair delighted families while entertainment organized by local shopkeepers punctuated the day. On-site catering and refreshment stalls allowed everyone to eat throughout this festive day. Registrations for Tinchebray-Bocage residents opened from September 8, followed by outside participants from mid-September.
The next edition is scheduled for Sunday, October 18, 2026.
