Vide-Grenier du Nayrac

On May 1st, 2025, the village of Le Nayrac hosted its traditional car boot sale in the parking lot of the Espace multiculturel, in the heart of this Aveyron commune nestled on the Viadène plateau. True to its reputation as an early morning event, it began at 6 a.m., attracting the most motivated bargain hunters in the cool Aveyron morning air.

The stalls, run exclusively by private individuals, offered the usual variety of rural car boot sales: old and modern crockery, decorative trinkets, clothes for the whole family, toys, books, gardening tools, small furniture, and unusual items. In this village awarded the Village Fleuri (three flowers) label, dominated by the pointed bell tower of its slate-covered church, the peaceful and authentic atmosphere fostered exchanges between sellers and buyers.

The proximity to Estaing, listed among the Most Beautiful Villages in France, and Espalion allowed visitors to combine their morning treasure hunt with a discovery of the exceptional heritage of the Lot valley. This 2025 edition, organized as every year on Labour Day, confirmed the attachment of the inhabitants of Le Nayrac and surrounding communes to this friendly spring gathering.
