Réguiny is a rural commune of about 2,100 inhabitants located between Locminé and Pontivy, in the heart of inland Morbihan. Its annual car boot sale, organized at the multi-purpose hall, is a friendly event that brings together the locals.

Despite its modest size, Réguiny benefits from active community life. The village, crossed by the D767 between Locminé and Pontivy, retains an authentic rural character with its granite farms, its sunken lanes, and its preserved hedgerows.
