Annual car boot sale at the village hall of Lantillac, a village of 300 inhabitants
The Lantillac car boot sale is held at the village hall. Around 50 exhibitors set up in this micro-village of 300 inhabitants located between Josselin and Rohan. A rare and precious event in the deep countryside of inland Morbihan.
With its 300 inhabitants, Lantillac is one of the smallest municipalities in Morbihan. Its annual car boot sale, which brings together around 50 exhibitors at the village hall, is a rare and authentic event, typical of the community life of Breton micro-villages.
Lantillac nestles in an intact hedgerow landscape, between the Ninian and Oust valleys. Granite farms, sunken lanes lined with oaks, and green meadows form a picturesque rural scene of great beauty. The village, away from the main roads, has retained a rare authenticity.
The car boot sales in these micro-villages often hold the best surprises for seasoned treasure hunters. Far from the standardization of large urban flea markets, you can find objects of Breton rural life, old tools, family crockery, and curiosities that tell the local story.
