The 2025 edition of the Vide-Grenier de Peypin was held on Sunday, October 5th, on the Place du Tilleul, in the heart of this Provençal village nestled between the wooded hills of the Regagnas massif and the foothills of the Allauch massif. Individuals and families gathered for a friendly day of treasure hunting in this former commune of the Valdonne mining basin, halfway between Aubagne and Gardanne. The authentic setting of the Place du Tilleul, lined by the Avenue de Valdonne, offered bargain hunters a pleasant time under the Provençal autumn sun.
On Sunday, October 5, 2025, Peypin's Place du Tilleul hosted another edition of the village's annual car boot sale. In this Provençal village in the Bouches-du-Rhône region, situated between the pine forests of the Allauch massif and the Regagnas mountain, residents and visitors from neighboring communes — La Destrousse, Cadolive, La Bouilladisse, Roquevaire — gathered for a day of treasure hunting and sharing.
The private sellers' stalls offered a wide variety of items: crockery and ceramics, books and comics, clothing for the whole family, toys, decorative knick-knacks, and small furniture. The warm and family-friendly atmosphere that characterizes the Peypin car boot sales contributed to the success of this autumn edition.
Peypin, a village marked by the history of the Valdonne mines and the Provence mining basin, preserves a rich heritage with its Oppidum de la Cride and the remains of its medieval castle. The commemorative stele of the Puits Castellane, erected in 2005, recalls the commune's mining past. This exceptional historical and natural setting gives the car boot sale on the Place du Tilleul a special charm, appreciated by bargain hunters from all over the Pays d'Aubagne and l'Étoile.
