Fontenay-sous-Bois's neighbourhood spring fair with flea market
Each spring, the Fête de la Cité in Fontenay-sous-Bois includes a large neighbourhood flea market reserved for local residents. Over two days, Fontenaisiens set up stalls near the town hall to sell second-hand items, alongside fairground rides and festive entertainment for all ages.
In Fontenay-sous-Bois, the annual Fête de la Cité combines a neighbourhood flea market with fairground rides and family entertainment. Held every April near the town hall, the event is strictly reserved for local residents, who each receive one 4-metre stall for €10 per day. This local-only policy creates a uniquely warm and authentic atmosphere where neighbours reconnect over bargains and rediscovered treasures.
Vendor registrations open online on mybrocante.fr approximately three weeks before the event. Visitors enjoy free admission. The venue is easily accessible by RER A (Fontenay-sous-Bois station) or buses 118 and 124.
