Bargain hunters and families enjoyed a day of outdoor flea marketing with refreshments, food, and entertainment, in a Provençal setting ten kilometers from Arles.
On Sunday, March 16, 2025, the Vide-Grenier de Fontvieille took over the fairground and covered market halls of Place Fernand Arnaud, in the heart of this Provençal village in the Alpilles. Organized by the association Les Cavaliers du Moulin, the event brought together between 50 and 100 exhibitors on this emblematic village site.
From 8 am to 5 pm, private individuals and professionals offered visitors a wide selection of second-hand items: clothing, tableware, toys, books, furniture, and trinkets of all kinds. Entry was free, and a refreshment stand with food allowed bargain hunters to refuel between finds. Entertainment and fairground rides contributed to the family atmosphere of this day.
Fontvieille, famous for the Daudet Mill and the Roman remains of Barbegal, offered its picturesque setting to flea market enthusiasts from Arles, Les Baux-de-Provence, and the entire region. The car boot sale will be held again in 2026 with a new edition scheduled for March 29th.
