Chélun is one of the smallest municipalities in Ille-et-Vilaine, with about 250 inhabitants. Located 10 km south of La Guerche-de-Bretagne, within the community of communes of Vitré Communauté, the municipality extends over a hilly hedged plateau, at the borders of Brittany and Mayenne.
