The 2025 edition of the Vide-Grenier de Bournazel took place in August on the Place du Foirail, at the foot of the famous Renaissance castle classified as a Historic Monument. Organized by the Tourist Office, this summer event brought together bargain hunters and private sellers in the enchanting setting of this stone village in the Pays Rignacois. From 8 am to 5:30 pm, visitors browsed the stalls in search of bargains, enjoying the shade of the century-old plane trees and the architectural beauty of Bournazel.
The 2025 edition of the Vide-Grenier de Bournazel brought together locals and visitors on the Place du Foirail, in this Aveyronnais village renowned for its exceptional Renaissance castle and its remarkable gardens. As every summer, the Tourist Office organized this popular bargain hunting day in the heart of the village, among the golden stone houses with slate roofs.
The stalls, set up under the century-old plane trees of the square, offered the usual variety of rural Aveyronnais car boot sales: crockery and pottery, books and magazines, clothing and accessories, toys, garden tools, decorative knick-knacks, and small furniture. Bargain hunters appreciated the friendly atmosphere of the village, just a stone's throw from the castle built in the 16th century by Jean II de Buisson, whose Italian-inspired sculpted facades are a unique testament to the Renaissance in Rouergue.
The Vide-Grenier de Bournazel will be held again in August 2026, still on the Place du Foirail, for a new edition that promises to combine the pleasure of bargain hunting with heritage discovery in one of the most beautiful villages of the Pays Rignacois.
