The COS Car Boot Sale: A Summer Event at the Leisure Park

Every August, the Social Works Committee (COS) of Arvert organizes its annual car boot sale at the town's leisure park. Reserved exclusively for individuals, this car boot sale offers an alternative to professional flea markets and guarantees an authentic car boot sale spirit, where everyone sells their personal items at affordable prices.

Arvert Leisure Park

The Arvert leisure park provides a green and shaded setting for this summer treasure hunt day. Stalls are set up along the park's paths, between the playgrounds and green spaces, creating a pleasant route for visitors. The site has parking and restrooms. A refreshment stand and food service are offered on-site by COS volunteers.

Arvert, Gateway to the Peninsula

A town on the Arvert Peninsula, Arvert is located between the Coubre forest, the Seudre marshes, and the Atlantic Ocean. This rural town, with its remarkable Romanesque church and lively covered market, is an ideal starting point for exploring the Côte Sauvage, the Coubre lighthouse, and the oyster beds of the Seudre.

Registration and Conditions

Registrations are made at the Tourist Information Office, located at the post office near Arvert's market hall. The registration deadline is the end of July. For latecomers, remaining spots are offered on the day, from 7:30 AM to 8 AM, rue du 14 Juillet. The fee is €3.50 per linear meter.
