Every year in March, the village of Gimel-les-Cascades hosts its car boot sale, flea market, and collectors' fair. Organized by the Association Culture et Loisirs, chaired by Francine Lescure, this dual event—outdoors and indoors—has become an anticipated spring gathering for bargain hunters and collectors in Corrèze.

Two complementary spaces

The car boot sale and flea market are set up outdoors around the town hall, offering a treasure hunt experience in a natural setting with views of the picturesque village. Private exhibitors offer clothing, toys, books, tableware, small furniture, and decorative items at low prices. Simultaneously, the hall of the cultural center, adjacent to the town hall, hosts the collectors' fair: old postcards, stamps, coins, figurines, rare books, and antiques are presented by passionate collectors.

Gimel-les-Cascades owes its fame to its three spectacular waterfalls formed by the waters of the Montane, which plunge over 140 meters into a green setting. This classified natural site attracts thousands of visitors each year. Practical information

The car boot sale is open from 9 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., with exhibitors setting up from 6:30 a.m. on a first-come, first-served basis. Outdoor pitches are offered at €5 for 6 meters with a vehicle.
