A Thirty-Year-Old Street Sale in the Heart of the Village

For over 30 years, the Gevezé street sale has enlivened the town center every September. Private sellers set up their stalls along the avenue de la Croix du Vivier and adjacent streets, offering clothes, toys, books, crockery, furniture, and various items. A pitch costs 2.50 euros per linear meter (i.e., 5 euros for a 2-meter space), a modest price that encourages broad participation. Registration is done in person at the Maison des Familles, rue du Calvaire.

The Festival Committee, Guardian of Traditions

The Gevezé festival committee has passionately organized this street sale since its inception. Volunteers handle all aspects of the organization: registration management, pitch allocation, signage, security, and catering. The day also offers a chance to enjoy outdoor Breton culinary classics: galettes-saucisses, crêpes, and cider. The atmosphere is friendly, and locals gather for this annual event that marks the end of summer.
