Large ACAPL car boot sale in Pérols with 200 exhibitors, by the pond
Every year in May, the ACAPL organizes a major car boot sale in Pérols. With around 200 private exhibitors, it is one of the largest car boot sales in the Montpellier metropolitan area. The stalls extend over a vast outdoor space where you can find clothes for the whole family, toys, books, trinkets, crockery, small furniture, used electronics, and a thousand everyday items. Attendance is high, attracting bargain hunters from all over the agglomeration.
Pérols is a commune in the southern first ring of Montpellier, nestled between the Étang du Méjean pond and the Boirargues shopping area. This fishing village, which has become a residential commune, has preserved a picturesque old center and a strong identity linked to its ponds. The proximity to the sea, accessible via the Carnon road, and the mild Mediterranean climate make Pérols a pleasant place to live where outdoor events benefit from generous sunshine.
The ACAPL car boot sale is an eagerly awaited event for bargain hunters. With 200 exhibitors, the offerings are plentiful and the bargains numerous. The organizers provide refreshments and food, often with local specialties such as cuttlefish stew or 'telles pérolaises'. Entry is free, and the atmosphere is popular and festive.
