Annual grand car boot sale at the municipal stadium of Locmariaquer, organized by LPC 56 and ACCA
The association LPC 56 and the ACCA (communal hunting association) of Locmariaquer jointly organize this annual grand car boot sale at the municipal stadium, at 4 Vierge de Kerlogonan. The event brings together around 150 exhibitors from 7 am to 6 pm. Visitor entry is set at €1 (free for under 16s), and refreshments are available on site.
Locmariaquer is a commune of about 1,600 inhabitants located at the western tip of the Gulf of Morbihan. The commune is world-renowned for its exceptional megalithic heritage: the Grand Menhir Brisé d'Er Grah, the largest stela ever erected by man in the Neolithic period (21 meters, 280 tons), and the Table des Marchands, a dolmen with remarkable engravings. The village is also famous for its flat oysters from Locmariaquer, farmed in the waters of the gulf.
With its 150 exhibitors, the Locmariaquer car boot sale is one of the largest on the Rhuys peninsula and in the Auray-Quiberon area. The municipal stadium setting, near the coast, offers a spacious and pleasant area for this summer treasure hunting day.
