The spring fair and car boot sale organized by the Cour-et-Buis festival committee
For over fifteen years, the town of Cour-et-Buis has organized its Spring Fair combined with a car boot sale. Supported by the local festival committee, this event has become a popular meeting place for the inhabitants of the Entre Bièvre et Rhône community of communes.
The originality of this event lies in the combination of a traditional fair and a car boot sale. Visitors can discover local products, crafts, and fairground entertainment while browsing through stalls from individuals. The socio-cultural hall of Cour-et-Buis hosts about fifty exhibitors in a space that is both indoor and outdoor.
Cour-et-Buis is a small rural commune in the Isère region, located in the hilly territory between the Bièvre plain and the Rhône valley. This village of about 700 inhabitants maintains an active associative life, with the festival committee being the main organizer. The Spring Fair is one of the highlights of the year for this close-knit community.
As in many small towns in the Isère region, the car boot sale is above all a moment of sharing and meeting between neighbors. The refreshments and food on site, run by volunteers from the festival committee, reinforce this warm atmosphere that makes rural events so charming.
