Flea market and spring car boot sale in the heart of Saint-André-de-Cubzac, organized by the Comité des Fêtes
Every year in April, the Comité des Fêtes de Saint-André-de-Cubzac organizes a spring car boot sale that takes over the streets of the town center of this commune in Haute-Gironde. Exhibitors - individuals and flea market vendors - offer clothes, toys, books, dishes, trinkets, small furniture, tools, and decorative objects. Setup is possible from 4:30 in the morning, allowing early birds to find the best treasures at dawn.
Saint-André-de-Cubzac (33240) is a town of about 12,000 inhabitants located on the right bank of the Dordogne, 25 km north of Bordeaux. Birthplace of Jacques-Yves Cousteau, it is an important commercial and road junction between Bordeaux, Libourne, and Blaye. Its weekly market, its historic Champ de Foire, and its seasonal fairs testify to a long trading tradition.
Refreshments and food are provided by the Comité des Fêtes and partner associations. The pitch for exhibitors is set at €3.50 per linear meter, with registration and payment at the Saint-André tourist office. Entry is free for visitors.
