The Vintage Vehicle Fair of the Grand Cru Zinnkoepflé Vineyard

For over three decades, the Soultzmatt Auto/Motorcycle/Tractor Exchange Fair has been a flagship event for vintage vehicle enthusiasts in Alsace. For its 34th edition, on April 11th and 12th, 2026, the event will once again take over the Salle polyvalente in Soultzmatt, a wine-growing village in the Alsatian vineyard renowned for its prestigious Grand Cru Zinnkoepflé, on the foothills of the Vosges mountains, about twenty kilometers south of Colmar.

The CVAAM, Master of a Passionate Tradition

The event is organized by the CVAAM — Club des Véhicules Anciens d'Alsace et du Monde, an association of Alsatian enthusiasts dedicated to the preservation and promotion of automotive and mechanical heritage. Since its creation, the club has brought together collectors, amateur mechanics, and enthusiasts of all makes and eras, eager to pass on their love for yesterday's vehicles.

Two Days of Passion Around Vintage Vehicles

The fair is open on Saturdays from 9 AM to 6 PM and on Sundays from 9 AM to 5 PM. It brings together specialized exhibitors offering:

• Automotive Spare Parts: bodywork, mechanics, electrical parts, upholstery for classic cars
• Motorcycle Parts: engines, frames, accessories for vintage motorcycles of all makes
• Tractor Parts: original parts for vintage agricultural tractors — Renault, Ferguson, Deutz, Fendt
• Models and Miniatures: scale model cars, trucks, tractors, and motorcycles, all makes and periods
• Automotive Literature: vintage magazines, workshop manuals, manufacturer catalogs, advertising posters
• Objects and Ephemera: enamel signs, grille badges, horns, headlights, lamps, and period accessories
• Vintage Mechanical Toys: tinplate cars and motorcycles, pedal cars, or spring-powered toys

Soultzmatt and the Grand Cru Zinnkoepflé Vineyard

Soultzmatt (68570) is a commune of about 2,000 inhabitants nestled in the Vallée Noble, on the vineyard slopes, at the junction of the Alsatian Vosges and the Rhine plain. The commune is renowned for its wines from the Grand Cru Zinnkoepflé, a granite and sandstone terroir producing exceptional Rieslings and Gewurztraminers. The Salle polyvalente in Soultzmatt, easily accessible from Colmar and Mulhouse, offers an ideal setting to host this popular event in a picturesque environment.

The Soultzmatt Exchange Fair is primarily aimed at experienced collectors and model makers, who can find parts here that are unavailable elsewhere. However, it is also open to curious visitors and families wishing to discover the world of vintage vehicles. It's an opportunity to mingle with enthusiasts, find that missing part, discuss ongoing restorations, and enjoy the warm atmosphere typical of such events.

Practical Information

Admission is set at €5 per person. The Salle polyvalente in Soultzmatt is accessible by car from Colmar (D83, approx. 20 min) or from Mulhouse (A35/D18, approx. 35 min). Parking is available near the hall. Food and drinks may be offered by the organizing association on-site.
