The Morbier Car Boot Sale, a major back-to-school event in the Haut-Jura

Organized by the Ski Club Morbier-Bellefontaine-Morez, the Morbier car boot sale is one of the most important in the Haut-Jura. Every year in September, it brings together around 140 exhibitors and attracts up to 7,000 visitors to the Marais stadium, a spacious and green site ideal for a day of outdoor treasure hunting.

Morbier is a commune in the Haut-Jura famous for its eponymous cheese, recognizable by its characteristic ash line. Located at an altitude of 750 meters between the ski resorts of Les Rousses and Métabief, the village offers an exceptional mountain setting. The Marais stadium, where the car boot sale is held, benefits from a vast flat, grassy area perfect for hosting exhibitors' stalls.

A Car Boot Sale That Attracts Crowds

The success of the Morbier car boot sale has been consistent year after year. Bargain hunters find everything: furniture, dishes, clothing, books, toys, sports equipment, and decorative items. Registration is mandatory for exhibitors and is done by mail. Entry and parking are completely free for visitors. The refreshment stand and light catering, run by ski club volunteers, allow you to refuel between finds.
