Garage sale and free concert evening around the listed church of Saint-Sauveur
The Sinsofolies of Saint-Sauveur-de-Givre-en-Mai are a festive event combining a garage sale with free concerts in the historic Saint-Sauveur quarter of Bressuire. From 100 to 200 exhibitors fill the rue Charlemagne around the listed church. The day extends into the evening with the Sinsofolie, a free music party featuring local artists, a bar, fast food and bouncy castles for children.
The Sinsofolies are much more than a simple garage sale. This festive event, rooted in the historic quarter of Saint-Sauveur-de-Givre-en-Mai in Bressuire, combines the pleasure of bargain hunting with a musical and convivial atmosphere that extends into the evening.
Rue Charlemagne and the surroundings of the listed church of Saint-Sauveur welcome between 100 and 200 exhibitors, exclusively private sellers. The choice is vast and eclectic: crockery, toys, clothing, books, vinyl records, tools, small furniture and unusual objects.
From 7pm, the garage sale gives way to the Sinsofolie itself: a free musical evening in the adjacent meadow. Three local artists perform on stage, including Sol'Shine and Patrick Bouvier.
Bressuire is the main town of northern Deux-Sèvres, known for its imposing medieval castle with 48 towers and its green bocage countryside.
The Sinsofolies return on Saturday May 30, 2026 in Saint-Sauveur, Bressuire. Garage sale 8am-6pm (100-200 exhibitors), then free musical evening from 7pm with Sol'Shine and Patrick Bouvier.
