Every year in June, the Bressuire Football Club organizes its traditional flea market at the Alain Métayer sports complex in the heart of Bressuire. This event, a well-anticipated gathering for bargain hunters in the Bressuirais bocage, brings together many private exhibitors offering second-hand items in a relaxed family atmosphere.
A Popular Flea Market in the Bocage
The Alain Métayer sports complex offers a spacious and accessible setting for the FCB flea market. Exhibitors, exclusively private individuals, display toys, clothing, books, dishes, ornaments, small furniture, and various objects on the stadium's outdoor spaces. The stand price is €2 per linear meter, by prior reservation. Opening is from 7 AM and the market runs until 7 PM.
An Event Supporting Local Football
All proceeds from this flea market go to Bressuire Football Club, which competes in regional championships. The money raised funds sports equipment, team travel, and club operations throughout the season.
