Solidarity bargain hunting by the port bandstand
Several times a year the bandstand of Sanary-sur-Mer hosts charity flea markets run by major local humanitarian associations: Lions Club, Inner Wheel, Ligue contre le cancer. Facing the port and the bay, stalls offer solidarity bargain hunting where all proceeds support Var charitable causes.
Sanary-sur-Mer, tucked on the coast between Bandol and Six-Fours, is famous for its Provençal harbour with its coloured pointu boats, its family beaches and its daily market ranked among France's finest. At the heart of the seafront, the bandstand regularly hosts charity flea markets run by local humanitarian associations.
The 2026 season offers several dates around this bandstand. Each time a different association takes the lead: Lions Club of Sanary for its local work, Inner Wheel and Ligue contre le cancer for cancer research and patient support, among others.
Sunday 5 April, Saturday 18 April, Sunday 3 May, Sunday 24 May (Lions Club of Sanary), Sunday 7 June (Inner Wheel), Sunday 14 June (Ligue contre le cancer). Other dates may be added by organisers.
