The artistic exhibition of the Saint-Saud Association

Each summer, the Saint-Saud Artistic Association organizes an exhibition of art and applied arts at the Foyer rural, showcasing the talent of local creators. For a week, between the end of July and the beginning of August, the public is invited to discover and purchase original works in a friendly and intimate setting, in the heart of the Périgord Vert.

Various creations: painting, jewelry, ceramics, and more

The exhibition brings together a wide diversity of artistic disciplines: paintings in watercolor, acrylic, or oil, embroidery, marquetry, modeling, jewelry, porcelain, paper art, patchwork, and many other craft techniques. Art Deco and Art Nouveau styles have inspired some editions, giving the fair its name.

Saint-Saud-Lacoussière, a village of artists in Périgord Vert

Saint-Saud-Lacoussière is a commune in the north of the Dordogne, on the borders of the Périgord Vert and the Limousin. This peaceful village, with a popular lake in summer, attracts artists and artisans who find inspiration for their creations in this rural setting. The local artistic association contributes to the cultural vitality of this commune of less than 1,000 inhabitants.

A free event open to all

Admission to the exhibition is free, allowing everyone to come and admire and purchase the works presented. The Foyer rural offers a bright and welcoming space for this event that punctuates the summer in Saint-Saud-Lacoussière. A guest of honor is sometimes invited to enrich the exhibition.
