Sainte-Croix is a commune of 745 inhabitants (the Saint-Crussois) located in the west of Aveyron, within the Ouest Aveyron Communauté intercommunal area. The communal territory, which covers 2,588 hectares at an average altitude of 372 meters, includes three distinct villages: Sainte-Croix, Marin, and Cénac, each with its own historical character.
The village of Sainte-Croix is an old fortified village surrounded by moats, dominated by an imposing 15th-century church whose large square tower with machicolations reaches 30 meters in height. Classified as a historic monument since 1931, this tower is one of the most remarkable heritage elements of the commune. Three marked hiking trails (from 4.5 to 14 km), including the Circuit des 3 clochers, allow visitors to discover the rolling landscapes and heritage of the three villages.
The proceeds from the sale contribute to the funding of educational projects and school trips for the pupils of the Célestin Rossignol school, a public establishment welcoming children from 2 years old to the final year of primary school. By participating in this sale, families directly support the school life of their commune. The APE volunteers ensure the organization of the event and run a refreshment stand offering drinks and homemade cakes.
Each exhibitor is provided with a 2.50-meter table with a bench, and space for a clothes rack. The cost is €8 per table.
