Large spring car boot sale in the 6th arrondissement of Paris
On Saturday 11 April 2026, Rue Notre-Dame-des-Champs hosts one of the biggest car boot sales on the Paris Left Bank. From 7 am to 7 pm, around 300 sellers set up their stalls along this long street connecting Montparnasse to the Luxembourg Gardens.
A literary and artistic street, Notre-Dame-des-Champs was home to Victor Hugo, Henry James, Whistler and Ezra Pound. It retains the calm atmosphere of old Paris, between Haussmannian buildings and 19th-century artist studios.
Residents of the 6th arrondissement offer high-quality items: old books, porcelain, Art Deco trinkets, vintage and designer clothing, costume jewellery, vinyl records, small furniture and old toys. A prime hunting ground for lovers of Parisian vintage.
Organised by SPAM, this free event has a quieter atmosphere than suburban car boot sales. Come early for the best selection.
